Write your own experiences on how volunteering changed you, or someone close to you.
The first prize is 100,000 Tsh for the best piece of writing to be awarded on 5th December on International Volunteering Day. There are runner up prizes also!
Competition Rules:
Title: ?Volunteering changed my life?
Write a personal experience in English or Kiswahili of up to 500 words or it could be a poem of no more than one side of A4
Write about a volunteer activity you did that changed your life or write about a volunteer who changed your life.
The volunteer you write about (it might be you or someone else) must be from Tanzania
You must be over 16 years of age.
Include your name and contact details clearly on your submission.
Please send your submissions to VSO at the address below (or via email). It should reach us no later than Monday November 24th 2008.
