A Depressing Movie: "The Day the Earth Stood Still"

I watched this movie over the weekend; I would say one of the most somber and depressing movies I have seen in a long time. It is quite the opposite of "Independence Day" or one of the best extra-terrestrial movies "Close Encounter of the First Kind".. I left the theater wandering the implication of the truth contained in that movie!

If you want a real Christmas movie.. this is not it!
