The Role of Tanzania in Arms Trafficking in Great Lakes Region

This is a report that we worked on following the outrage of Hubert Sauper's movie "Darwin's Nightmare" and the allegations in the movie that Tanzania was and probably still being used by small arms traffickers around the Great Lakes region and hence fueling armed conflicts around this part of Africa. Those allegations were vehemently opposed by the government which made us do some little research on why some authorities believe that Tanzania has a part in the increase of small arms proliferation in Great Lakes region.
